After spending two weeks in Pjs and Tracksuits I find it hard to jump back into my jeans or anything really that doesn’t have an elasticated waist.
So I thought I would put a edit together of the clothes I will be wearing this January - Comfort, warmth and looking stylish is what i’m going for. Heres a few items I already have in my wardrobe / can’t live without / thinking about purchasing..
Let’s start with keeping your head warm but at the same time feeling fashionable, we all need a good Cap and Snood. Here’s a few I love…
1.Grey Snood 2.Black Snood 3.Black & White Snood 4.Brown Snood
1.Corduroy Cap 2.Grey Cap 3.Ritz Cap 4. Navy Cap
Next Up is a GOOD WARM vest, this is such a good investment - the Skims bodies keep you SO warm. I also love my Intimissimi vest. These are also great to put under a white shirt if you want to look and feel seamless, I have also been wearing mine under these tight tops so you don’t see any bra coming through.
Top half is simple, cashmere jumpers, white long / short sleeve tops / Sweatshirts / oversized shirts under the jumpers is always stylish. I will add some images to the bottom of this news letter to give you some outfit building inspo.
Elasticated trousers are my most worn trousers in my wardrobe, I’ve picked out a few pairs which will see you through to the summer. Styling Tip for wanting jeans that are actually comfy is to buy low waist and buying them a size or two bigger so are not restricted and give you the oversized look.
5. Cargo Trousers 6. Wide leg Denim 7.Velvet Cropped Leggings 8. Stripe Trousers
Coats - a short puffer and a long smarter coat would look good with all these trousers. I’ll add some below:
I hope this was helpful, any feedback welcome! Disclaimer I am dyslexic so go easy on me - I love writing but it doesn’t come naturally to me so hoping to get better as I go.
P.S heres a mood-board for you to screen shot to help you style up your looks - you don’t have to buy anything new you could have everything in your wardrobe already, so give it a go and let me know!
Em x
